Every person in the Archdiocese is called to encounter Jesus anew, to grow daily as his disciple, and to give witness to the power of his mercy.

Dear Parish Families:
It is our prayer and hope that you and your families are staying safe and healthy! We are living in uncertain and quickly changing times. As we continue to navigate through this health crisis, I wanted to share with you some information that will assist you during this unsettling time.
Sacrament Preparation:
To the families of children preparing to receive the Sacrament of First Eucharist and/or Confirmation, those celebrations are currently suspended. We do know that the celebrations will take place at a later date, however, we await guidance and direction from the Archbishop as to when they are to be re-scheduled.
Staying informed:
The best way to stay connected and informed regarding changes and updates to the Family Faith Formation schedule and events in the parish is via the St. Margaret of Scotland webpage, www.stmargaret-scsmi.org. The webpage is also where you can link to Sunday and daily mass. Fr. DeHondt will be livestreaming Sunday Mass as well as private daily mass. The Church will be also be open daily for private prayer, Monday thru Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Saturday, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Sunday, 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Online Resources:
There are many resources now available for you to access at home. Please take some time to explore them, share them and use them with your children.
Archdiocese of Detroit (aod)
The AOD website, www.aodonline.org, has many resources to view and share. I highly recommend exploring the many prayers, resources, readings and other offerings. Check it out!
Textbook:
www.bemydisciples. Many activities and resources that coordinate with the textbooks we utilize in our program.
Formed:
Through the AOD, we have been given the opportunity to share tremendous resources at this site for the next 40 days. Go to www.formed.org/signup. Type in “Faith At Home Detroit”. Follow the directions for access and you will automatically be signed up. There are plenty of activities for children, adults, families, and Lenten reflection. In particular, Stations of the Cross and Praying the Rosary would be suggested as we continue our Lenten journey.

God bless,
Amelia F. Sledz
